MICHIGAN DEER HUNTING SEASON
My dad said his treasured caliber is the 300 WSM he got at a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation banquet last season. A minor problem with the 300 WSM barrel is if you put a scope on you lose your irons, the scope rail runs into the rear sights so they have to come off to use a scope. Our treasured rifle is the 300 WSM I picked up online at the NRA store. The best shooting caliber would have to be a 300 WSM.
There is a new edition of my new Marlin 1894C with the laminated birch chambered in 416 Rigby and 300 WSM. Chet got his Marlin last fall at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Littleton. I will always remember my precious hunt was in Littleton when you took Ji out and the two of you fall asleep, but still managed to get the buck with your 416 Rigby.
