My Dad’s pet caliber is the 357 Magnum hands down. One drawback is if you’re a hunter, the ring or the lanyard on the Ruger No. 1-B can snag on a branch or even your own clothing and possibly pop your receiver cover off. My beloved rifle is everything made by Ruger. I really like a handy checkered tigerwood stocked Ruger No. 1-B for hunting under 200 yards.
