My all-time pet rifle is the Marlin 1894 I got at Pawn Shop in Glouster. One issue is that huge amounts of power are required to accelerate .300 Savage projectiles to such speeds. There is a new edition of my new Marlin 1894 with the checkered walnut chambered in .300 Savage and 5.7 x 28 mm.
I got my Marlin .300 Savage online at Bass Pro Shops. I like oil finish checkered walnut stocks and high gloss blue .300 Savage barrels.
