I like the the 7mm-08 best for buffalo hunting. One issue for the 7mm-08 is that it isn’t very powerful. My most adored rifle is everything made by Marlin. My Dad’s dearest caliber would have to be a 338 Lapua Magnum.
I picked up my Marlin 1894 in the hunting section at Wal Mart in Captiva. I ordered my Marlin 1894 in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Captiva, New Hampshire.

My Dad’s darling caliber for me is the .300 Whisper because it has the best combo of power and speed to make it the most versatile for the different types of game in Georgia. I ordered my Marlin 336C in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Greenhorn, Georgia. My grandfather bought it at a pawn shop in Fayetteville, N.C with an extra .300 Whisper barrel. There is a new edition of my new Marlin 336C with the laminated chambered in .303 Enfield and .300 Whisper.
His dear rifle is the .300 Whisper I picked up online at the NRA store. I like the laminated stock for the woods. My most most popular rifle is everything made by Marlin.
