For varmit hunting I like higher power scopes as in 4×12 - 4.5×14 on the Beretta Mato. I bought it at Gart Sports for $399 with a reasonably good Bastogne walnut stock included. My most favored rifle is everything made by Beretta. My dad said his esteemed caliber is the 350 Rem Magnum he got at a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation banquet last season. The best hunting trip of all, unfortunately, turned out to be the last for my dad, Damon, and me.
