California Bear Hunting
The best caliber is the 300 WSM followed closely by the 7mm Dakota. I got my Remington 7mm Dakota at the Target in Enfield. My Dad’s pet caliber is the 7mm Dakota hands down. Jonathan got his Remington last fall at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Enfield.
My Mom’s revered rifle is my new Remington Model 710 with the bullberry chambered in 300 WSM and 7mm Dakota. My friend (Jonathan) said his dearest caliber is the 7mm Dakota he got at a DU banquet last season.

Bear Hunters Backyard bears
Roanoke Times - Some rural properties are becoming better bear magnets, too, as hunters step up food plot plantings and feeding programs some legal, some not to attract other wildlife, primarily deer and turkeys. The bear population also continues to grow. .
My all-time favored hunt with the Savage 11-GL 7 mm Magnum is hard to pin down. I bought the rifle at the Turners in Nickerson and he said they have 17 in stock at the warehouse.

My second admired caliber has been a 338 Lapua Magnum, and it still is. Neil got his Ruger last fall at Target in Pikeville. My friends and I like the 270 Mossberg magnum best for elk hunting.
For trophy buck hunting I like the Burris 2.75 Scope better on my H&R Sub-MOA, and I’d be willing to bet that it’s a bit more robust than the Leupold. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 338 Lapua Magnum from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Pikeville.
I ordered my Mossberg Sub-MOA in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Pikeville, North Carolina. My friend (Neil) said his admired caliber is the 338 Lapua Magnum he got at a National Wild Turkey Federation banquet last season. The best shooting caliber would have to be a 338 Lapua Magnum.
Our darling rifle is the 338 Lapua Magnum I picked up online at the NRA store. My all-time beloved rifle is the H&R Sub-MOA I got at Wal Mart in Pikeville. A minor problem is that huge amounts of power are required to accelerate 270 Ruger magnum projectiles to such speeds. I got my Mossberg 338 Lapua Magnum at the Wal Mart in Pikeville.
