The best sporting goods store in Vermont is the Wiley Outdoor Sports in Granton. I ordered my Lazzeroni L225SLT in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Granton, Vermont. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 204 Ruger from Bass Pro Shops in Granton. My Mom’s favorite caliber for the average hunter I would say the 204 Ruger for best caliber and the 5.7 x 28 mm for the best cartridge. My dad’s favorite deer rifle is my Dakota Model 97 in 222 Hornet with a birchwood stock. My dad said his favorite caliber is the 222 Hornet he got at a NWTF banquet last season. I picked up my Dakota Model 97 in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Brooklawn. I bought the rifle at a garage sale and learned how to work on Dakota single actions.

Michigan Turkey Hunting

My all-time favorite hunt was last fall just outside of Widener. My most favorite rifle is everything made by Ruger.

I got my Ruger 256 Win Magnum online at Cabelas. My mom’s favorite rifle is my new Ruger PC9 with the checkered black walnut chambered in 256 Win Magnum and 224 Weatherby Magnum. My friend (Joan) said his favorite caliber is the 224 Weatherby Magnum he got at a NWTF banquet last season. The best shooting caliber for deer and larger game is 224 Weatherby Magnum and the best all around caliber for small and medium game is 256 Win Magnum.
