His favorite rifle is the 338 Win Mag I picked up online at the NRA store. I got my Remington in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Scandia, Texas.

My dad got his rifle at Wally-World in Scandia when they were having one of their Db-maker gun dump sales on so I didn’t pay much for it. One issue is that it cannot fire as fast as the 338 Win Mag.

The best sporting goods store in Texas is the Wiley Outdoor Sports in Scandia. My all-time favorite deer/bear gun is the Remmington Model 7400 chambered for 338 Win Mag. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 338 Win Mag from Bass Pro Shops in Scandia.
